Center Point Bio-Tech announced it has signed an agreement with Patterson Veterinary Supply to distribute its proprietary and complete suite of point of care analyzers to veterinarians. Sales training began at Patterson's national sales meeting this past week in anticipation of product availability end of 2024. Center Point Bio-Tech will market its suite of analyzers under the brand AlphaION.

AlphaION is simple enough to operate at point of care and powerful enough to help veterinarians diagnose and manage complex diseases across species and specialties. AlphaION is composed of 5 modular analyzers which may be purchased and operated separately or as a complete suite. AlphaION will provide 9 lab functions including biochemistry, electrolyte, coagulation, blood gas, CBC with 6-part differential, immunoassay testing, automated urine microscopy, automated fecal parasitology, and automated bacterial culture and sensitivity testing. AlphaION increases access to veterinary care by offering an easy to operate and low maintenance line of patient lab testing at point of care, which allows veterinarians to test more to treat more. AlphaION also allows the veterinary care team to allocate less time and fewer resources to maintaining and operating equipment.
